Let's see... These are my lovelies! I think I'm going to describe each person a bit, so you can really understand our
Caitlin Higgins- That's me... The hypocrite. I tell people to be serious and then I start screaming about chicken or
something - I'm really weird. I've been skating on the team since the 2001-2002 season.
Emily Falah- Emily Falah. She's really quiet, but really nice. I rode up to Connecticut with her - she's such a fun person!
This is her first season (2004-2005) skating for the Lady Ducks.
Dylan Furlano- Dylan is an interesting person. She's really good at talking back, but she is such a good motivational
speaker... Once, Cailin and I were holding Dylan up in the shoot the duck circle, and I accidentaly let her go. She went fining
into our coach and knocked her down. You can't not love Dylan. This is her first season (2004-2005) skating for the Lady Ducks.
Christa Guzeweski- Christa. My God, she never stops! She always can cheer you up, and she's a really funny girl - but
she doesn't shut up. Imagine sitting in a dorm room at 2 o'clock in the morning, because one of your room-mates is screaming
"HUMPA!" at the top of her lungs. Well, that annoying room-mate is Christa. We love her anyways though! Christa has been skating
on the team since the 2002-2003 season.
Lindsie Palmer- Lindsie Jean Palmer. She's really mature, and the second oldest skater on the team. She's a really good
skater, and she's never mean to anyone. She's rarely loud, but she's a really great person to talk to. We all love Lindsie,
no matter how weird she gets. Lindsie has been skating on the team since the 1999-2000 season. She's an oldie.
Cailin Lynch- The playa. She has lots of stories to tell about family and previous boyfriends, and she's really fun to
listen to. She can be uber serious sometimes, and really goofy others...We all love Cailin, but I love her the most because
I've known her for a really long time! Cailin has skated on the team since the 1999-2000 season. The second of the oldies!
(This was edited, because Cailin needs a life.)
Carley Needham- Carley is one of the two youngest skaters on the team, she celebrated her eleventh birthday in early
December. Basically, she is a really cool person, but she has to put up with a lot, considering she hasn't been skating as
long as most of us. She was an alternate for the 2001-2002 season, and she did not recieve a chance to skate, yet in the 2002-2003
season, I broke my leg, and she skated at all five competitions. She's a strong little kid. Carley has been skating for
the team since the 2001-2002 season.
Ariadna Figueira- Ariadna is a good skater, and I never really thought about it until now. She never is off count, and
she never does the wrong steps; our Coach never yells at her... But Ari is a really fun person! I could talk to her about
anything. Ariadna has been skating for the team since the 2001-2002 season.
Alie Browne-Tome- Alie is an awesome person! She can be really serious sometimes, but she won't hurt anyone's feelings.
We love Alie! She can also be really weird and somewhat distant at times, but on some days, she is really funny! Alie has
been skating on the team since the 1999-2000 season. The last oldie!
Emily Walsh- Emily is really serious; she's like the team mother when we are skating... We always listen to Emily. She
doesn't goof off at practice like we do, but she's really fun after practice when she does goof around. Emily has been skating
on the team since the 2001-2002 season.
Julia Simpson- Julia is a very quiet and shy person at first, but when you get to know her... WOW! The kid's a firecracker,
with an endless amount of energy. She can go for a long time without sleep, and enjoys eating raw sugar (as do we all). Julia
was an alternate for the 2003-2004 season, and got to skate once, when I caught pnemounia. She is also the alternate for this
year. Julia has been skating on the team since the 2003-2004 season.
Coach Marilyn- Miss. Marilyn is like our mom. She always gives us things, but she tells us when we suck. We love Miss.
Marilyn! Miss. Marilyn has been coaching the team since the 1999-2000 season.
Jessika Laird- Jessie's really cool! She can be serious, but then again, she can be fun... She also has some really deep
thoughts, and she's a really good person to talk to! We love Jessie, and she's an awesome skater! Jessika has been skating
on the team since the 2002-2003 season.
Alyn O'Brien- Alyn is awesome! She's really sensitive, but really outgoing and friendly. She's also probably the best
skater out of us all; she landed her axel on her second try and her double toe-loop and double salchow on her first day of
learning them. She's also VERY forgiving, because I have dropped her on the ice many, many times. Anyone else would probably
kill me. Alyn has been skating on the team since the 2002-2003 season.
